One of the biggest weeks in dance music is just around the corner. Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is dubbed the "most upfront and influential gathering for global electronic music and its industry". For fans based in North America, it's analogous to Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week in the states. ADE is a must-attend at least once in the lifetime of a true dance music fan. That's because the biggest players in the industry, from artists to agents to promoters, and fans converge in the city that has produced some of the best electronic beats in the world.
This year from Wednesday, October 18, to Sunday, October 22, ADE presents more than 900 artists over 1,000 events including intimate panels and workshops and of course, top-notch shows. The ADE Pro Pass, which is the ultimate experience with full access to all conference tracks, networking events and hubs and all festival events, can be purchased here. ADE Lab tickets, which include masterclasses, studio sessions and demo drops to kickstart electronic music careers, are available here. There are also a variety of free events.
Highlights include the Cercle with W Hotels collaboration on 14 events with more than 30 guests, with innovative programs both during the day and night. The biggest event happening during ADE, scale-wise, is AMF Festival, which takes place at Johan Cruijff ArenA, the largest stadium in The Netherlands. There are more events than there is time.
