With less than two months until Elements Music & Arts Festival's seventh edition with an exceptionally spectacular lineup, the day-by-day lineup has been unleashed. Elements returns to Long Pond in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, from August 9 to 11, 2024. The premier immersive electronic festival of the Northeast has generated especial buzz this year since dropping a huge Phase I lineup in February and an equally massive Phase II in April.
With the lineup by day out, the tools are on the table to start planning a trip to Elements – even if only for some of the days, as a limited number of single day passes are now available. There are a variety of camping options for the full experience, but also day parking passes for those who prefer to drive in and out.
Complementing the stacked lineup that will satisfy lovers of bass, house, techno and more genres of dance music, is the creative depth of the festival. The four stages are named after and designed to reflect the elements of Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Through the years, the festival has evolved and grown to where it now occupies a sizable area in the woodlands adjacent to Pocono Raceway, and is just a 90-minute drive from both New York City and Philadelphia. Elements co-founder Brett Herman said:
"Elements is and will always be radically inclusive – we hope to share the Elements magic with as many people as possible, even if they can only spare a day or two... Many of our family that joined for just a day last year are now returning for the full three-day experience with camping. Once you've seen what we've created in the forests and fields, it's only natural to want to see more.”
— Brett Herman, Elements co-founder
Here are some of Edmtrain's highlight artists to catch for each of the days:
Early arrival - Thursday, August 8
Elements is a four-day festival if you count the early arrival day on Thursday, which has a small lineup but is the perfect way to get settled before the rush of the crowd. Early arrival allows fans to set up their campgrounds and ease into the festivities of the weekend. It's going to be Desert Hearts heaven with the full record label quintet of Mikey Lion, Marbs, Porky and Lee Reynolds. They will be joined by bass rising star Of The Trees.
Day 1 - Friday, August 9
The first official day of Elements kicks off with heavy-hitters including ILLENIUM, who is undeniably one of the biggest artists in dance music, selling out stadiums, and will be a real treat for melodic dubstep fans. Another icon, Kaskade, returns to Elements with his tradition of playing a Redux set. One of the most interesting sets of the weekend, Green Velvet b2b Patrick Topping, goes down on Friday. The master of experimental bass, Liquid Stranger, is also back and will bring some spacey vibes. Bass fans will love the special guests: Sullivan King b2b Kayzo and Tape B.
Day 2 - Saturday, August 10
Day two is another dream for bass lovers, with headliner Excision bound to bring out all the headbangers. Another massive act is SLANDER, but in the form of their techno alias Before Dawn, which is honestly the perfect transition for bass fans venturing into the underground realm. Genre-blending French producer CloZee is another one to watch, along with LSDREAM who will present his ambient Lightcode project in a second set. Among the most anticipated sets, Chris Lorenzo b2b AC Slater a.k.a. Fly With Us, will also go down on Saturday.
Day 3 - Sunday, August 11
Elements is closing out on a high note with three top-notch headliners on Sunday: Chris Lake b2b Cloonee, Subtronics performing not one but two sets, and Pennsylvania-grown jam band The Disco Biscuits. That's not all, though. There's three special guests on the last day for an epic finale. They are hard techno priestess Sara Landry, the Canadian electronic duo Bob Moses playing a club set, and rising star it's murph. Drum 'n' bass fans won't be left out either, as Dimension and Sub Focus are sure to be a hit.
Final thoughts
Last year, Elements was bigger than ever in terms of its lineup, production and scale. This year, organizers have clearly worked to top 2023 and are pulling out all the stops for what is shaping up to be its most epic edition yet, and not one to be missed. Festival, camping and parking passes and add-on's can all be purchased here.
