The multi-talented GRiZ is a fan favorite.
There are many electronic artists supporting, including Destructo, Dr. Fresch, SoDown, Will Clarke and Wuki. As stacked as the lineup is, there are over 100 more artists still to be announced.
Shambhala has a truly grassroots beginning, born on a sunny weekend in 1998 when about 500 people gathered at the Salmo River Ranch to showcase music and local art. It grew by word of mouth and became a staple event for underground music in the West Coast. It now brings world-renowned DJs and cutting edge production – all while remaining corporate sponsorship-free.
"This allows the festival to retain a true reflection of the people on the dance floor and their vision of what their community looks like. This mission is important to hold down as electronic dance music culture has moved into the mainstream where opportunistic corporations have threatened to water it down," Shambhala states on its website.
"In this respect, this festival’s community is like no other."
